Program

The Advisory Committee designed the meeting program based on four principle areas:

• Access to high-quality education for all, and the role of open content in providing such access.
• Informal learning, and the role of the mentor in choice making.
• Personalized learning, and learning standards that work across borders.
• Applications of digital video, mobile devices, and the global network.

These four areas will serve as the basis for discussions to help identify future education and technology needs and trends for next-generation educational and learning environments.

To learn more about the contents of the meeting, you may want to read 2009 Open EdTech Summit.

Rachel Smith and Alan Levine, from the New Media Consortium (NMC), will be leading the facilitation of the sessions, to help generate insightful results.
