  • FacebUOC - An Open Social Learning experience at UOC. Engagement as the key for new learning in the social web.
  • UOC Personas – identifying the profiles, the characteristics of each user group at UOC.
  • Emotion Heuristics – developing a method to evaluate satisfaction objectively, by observing facials, gestures and oral expressions.
  • User Lab – building the user lab to be able to execute hundreds of tests throughout the year (includes protocol, software, database management, etc.)
  • ENJOY guidelines – developing engagement heuristics to integrate in a user centered heuristic evaluation of a system or service.
  • Joy of eLearning – identifying the elements of engagement and motivation in a face to face learning environment and how these can be translated into the virtual environment.
  • Second Life – developing a new environment for UOC in SL.
  • E-litigis – integrating role-play in a Law class.
  • EdVideo – integrating video as the natural communication system, leveling it to text (i.e., video blogging and video chatting).
