The Advisory Committee designed the meeting program based on four principle areas:
- Personalization of the learning process
- Learning content development and delivery
- Future technologies at the service of learning
- Learning: everyone, everywhere and anytime
These four areas will serve as the basis for discussions to help identify future education and technology needs and trends for next-generation educational and learning environments.
Franc Ponti, an expert in creative and innovation strategies, will be leading the creative teamwork sessions during these discussions, to help generate insightful results.
DETAILED PROGRAM:

Monday, November 10th:
- 6 p.m.: Welcome reception at the Hotel Barcelona Catedral, followed by a Barcelona experience outdoor activity
Tuesday, November 11th:
- 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.: Registration
- 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Opening by Imma Tubella, Rector, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Begoña Gros, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Llorenç Valverde, Vice-Rector for Technology
- 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Trends in Education panel, chaired by Vijay Kumar and with the participation of Susan D’Antoni, Paul G. West, Linda G. Roberts and Llorenç Valverde
- 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Break
- 11 a.m. - 1p.m.: Creative Teamwork
- 1 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Lunch
- 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 pm: Creative Teamwork
- 4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Break
- 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Conclusions
- 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Personal time
- 7:30 p.m.: Barcelona legends and myths’ walk tour followed by a typical Mediterranean dinner
